Joao Texeira de Faria, affectionately called John of God, is known as the Miracle Man of Brazil. However, to focus on John of God solely as a miracle man is to miss an essential part of what he offers. He is a reminder of our own ability to connect with the spiritual realms and a dramatic model of what is possible.

John of God has dedicated his life to serving as a medium. For 46 years, more than 35 benevolent spirits, whom he calls “entities,” have used his body to perform miraculous healings, both physical and spiritual. These entities were once revered doctors, saints, surgeons, and noted spiritual beings in their lifetime. As an unconscious medium, John of God channels the energy of the Holy Spirit — the most powerful energy of creation.

John of God’s success rate is unheard of in Western medicine. For some the healing is immediate. For most, the healing unfolds over time and for others additional visits to the Casa are required. Many begin to experience dramatic healing once they make the commitment to journey to John of God. The entities continue to work with journeyers after they return home.

John of God welcomes people of all faiths to his healing center Casa de Dom Inacio in the small Brazilian town of Abadiania. His work is free of charge. Donations are gratefully accepted but never solicited.
